Your first session is where it all starts.We’ll begin with a consultation and a full movement assessment. This gives us a chance to talk through your running history, any previous training experience, and assess how your body moves.
We’ll identify any mobility or strength limitations that could be holding you back and from there, we’ll put a clear plan in place to support your running goals.
During the Movement Assessment, we’ll go over your training goals and outline a plan for strength and mobility work to complement your running. We’ll also touch on nutrition and recovery strategies to support your progress.
It’s a simple but important starting point and sets us up with the right structure moving forward. After the session, I’ll build a customised program around your goals, training preferences, and what will keep you consistent and motivated — whether that’s strength work, mobility sessions, or run-specific training.
Just like the 1-to-1 coaching, I like to have a quick 30-minute chat with you over the phone so I can better understand what your fitness and wellness goals are.
The next step is an Online Movement Assessment. This is a series of joint specific tests that you will perform and record. We will then have a conversation about which areas you would like to prioritise on this movement journey.
Then with this information, we can go ahead and set you up on the True Coach app where I will create a personalised program for you.
Once the program has been made - let the games begin! You can record and send in videos for feedback on the exercises. We will then re-evaluate the program and tweak anything if necessary.
